Top 10 Illinois LGBT-Friendly Firm

Equality Illinois, an organization committed to securing, protecting and defending equal rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in Illinois, named Kirkland & Ellis LLP as one of the 10 most LGBT-friendly firms doing business in the state.

The honor was announced at an event held in Chicago on July 29. The top firms were selected based on a survey regarding LGBT initiatives and policies. Kirkland's survey included information regarding the Firm's LGBT recruiting efforts, domestic partner and transgender health benefits, diversity management, sponsorship and philanthropy, and commitment to LGBT pro bono matters.
