Kaye Horstman is a Scientific Advisor in the New York Office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. She holds an M.P.H. in Quantitative Methods from Harvard School of Public Health, as well as a Ph.D. in Microbiology from New York University. Before joining Kirkland, Kaye was a Research Scientist at the Medical Practice Evaluation Center at Massachusetts General Hospital, evaluating the clinical and economic value of HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis programs using a computer-based simulation model of HIV disease. Her Ph.D. research investigated molecular pathogenesis of the bacterium Yersinia enterocolitica and mechanisms of prion formation in yeast.
