IP Law Summer School 2001 presented by IBC Global Conferences
Jeffrey D. Mills, a partner in Kirkland's London office, will be speaking at the IBC's first IP Law Summer School, held in the historic surroundings of Queens' College, Cambridge. This intensive three-day conference, directed at legal and corporate professionals, will provide a comprehensive update of new developments in patents, trademarks and copyright in Europe and the USA. Jeff will be a participant in an international panel discussing a UK comparative study of patent validity updates. He will also give a tutorial entitled "Multi-Jurisdictional IP Litigation," discussing such topics as preparations required before issuing proceedings, the practicalities of coordination, and the pitfalls (plus how to avoid them) of procedural and evidential differences.
