Handling Intellectual Property Issues in Business Transactions 2003

Neil Hirshman will be speaking at the Practicing Law Institute program, "Handling Intellectual Property Issues in Business Transactions 2003," on April 25, 2003. This comprehensive two-day program, beginning April 24, will provide an in-depth understanding of IP issues that arise in corporate transactions, including joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions. Topics to be covered will include the strategic role of intellectual property in company valuation and financing, licensing intellectual property in business transactions and due diligence in intellectual property transactions. Mr. Hirshman will be presenting on Ownership of Intellectual Property Technology Assets - Contracting, Joint Developments and Alliances and will focus on the follow topics: who will and should own the rights in patents, problems created by joint ownership, and sharing the obligations and the benefits.
