2003 Intellectual Property Owners Association Annual Meeting

The dynamic structure of the 2003 Intellectual Property Owners Association Annual Meeting will offer many opportunities to renew acquaintances and make new friends, beginning with the welcome reception on Sunday evening at the Fairmont Hotel. The Monday evening reception and dinner will feature marvelous views of Lake Michigan and the classic sounds of Chicago-style jazz at the venerable University Club. The all-day Monday and Tuesday sessions cover a broad array of subjects ranging from creative patent litigation to trademark dilution to leveraging innovation. Kirkland partners Neil S. Hirshman and John M. Desmarais will both be participating in this event. Mr. Hirshman will be speaking on Executory License Agreements in Bankruptcy Proceedings while Mr. Desmarais will take part in a discussion regarding Industry Standards-Setting and Related Issues.
