Kirkland & Ellis Rocks Banding Together '08

Kirkland is a major sponsor of the 5th Annual Gifts for the Homeless "Banding Together" event being held on June 19, 2008 in Washington, D.C.  Eleven bands representing D.C. legal organizations will compete for the "Champion Law Firm Band" prize. All the money raised will be purchase clothing and winter items to be distributed to Washington, D.C.'s homeless population. 

Kirkland partner Walt Lohmann serves on the Board of Directors for Gifts for the Homeless and is coordinating the event.  Walt, along with retired Kirkland D.C. partner Mark Grummer and their band, Stressbomb, are competing in the event.
