Invisible Disabilities in the Workplace Workshop

On November 21st, the Kirkland & Ellis Los Angeles office hosted an Invisible Disabilities in the Workplace Workshop. This event featured speakers from the Disability Rights Legal Center, Southern California Edison, and the Lawyer Assistance Program. An overflow audience of clients, attorneys, and staff learned that “invisible disabilities” are real, prevalent, potentially disruptive, legally-protected, and something a corporate culture can embrace and support in order to enhance the satisfaction, productivity, and retention of all employees—whether they have a disability or not.
