Kirkland Seminar

Private Fund Manager U.S. Investment Adviser Registration Seminar

The Private Fund Manager U.S. Investment Adviser Registration Seminar will feature Kirkland panelists discussing developments, beginning in 2011, under proposed U.S. legislation that is likely to require European (and other non-U.S.) fund managers to register with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the SEC). As currently contemplated, this generally includes any firm with a U.S. office or US$25 million or more in U.S. investor commitments.

Join our global regulatory team, featuring Kirkland partners Scott A. Moehrke, P.C., Lisa Cawley and Richard K. Watkins, at this breakfast seminar to find out who will be affected by the new legislation, and what SEC registration/supervision entails. This event is geared toward legal, financial and administrative professionals from private fund managers, including (but not limited to): general Counsel or other inside counsel professionals; chief financial officers or controllers; directors of LP relations and compliance professionals.

The seminar will be held in London on February 11, 2010. For more information, please contact Emilie Godard at +44 20 7469 2027 or emilie.godard@kirkland.com
