Partner Bill Streff is hosting the 22nd Annual Technology & Law Seminar on Wednesday, May 20, in the Chicago office. The one-day program will explore current strategic legal issues relating to intellectual property and technology. Topics discussed will include Ethical Considerations of Dual-Use Devices in the Workplace; Avoiding Legal and Ethical Social Media Pitfalls; Go Ask Alice - Section 101 Under the Looking Glass; PTAB Practice and Strategy: A Trial Attorney's Perspective; The Changing Cyber-Security Landscape: What You Need to Know to Protect Your Organization; Can You Keep a Secret? Stronger Protection for Trade Secrets in Europe and Japan; From Handshake to Signature: Tricky Issues in Patent Settlement Agreements; and Trends and Developments in Technology Transactions. More than fifteen attorneys from different offices will present at the seminar. In 2014, 75 guests attended the program from various companies. The educational program will conclude with a networking social hour.
