Big Data and Its Impact on Outsourcing: Legal and Business Challenges
“Big Data and Its Impact on Outsourcing: Legal and Business Challenges” will be presented on Thursday, November 8 in partnership with Kirkland & Ellis, IBM, Mayer Brown, and the Kirkland & Ellis Corporate Lab at the University of Chicago Law School. The goal of this conference is to help thought leaders in the outsourcing industry prepare for changes ahead.
Partners Neil Hirshman and Dan Lewis have co-planned the conference, and will also be leading two of the panel discussions:
Dan will moderate “Negotiating Deals in an Evolving Data Rights Landscape.” This panel will discuss how leading companies are approaching the challenges and opportunities surrounding data rights in contractual agreements today and pose questions for audience members to consider as they move forward in contracting. Dan will be joined by Bill Helmstetter of Cigna, Jackquelyn Strickland of Accenture, and Joe Pennell of Mayer Brown.
Neil will moderate “Corporate Response/Reaction to the Day’s Sessions.” This panel will include a discussion of the day’s sessions and their import, both current and prospective, on day to day business operations. Neil will be joined by Cary Pumphrey of Walgreens, David Scharf of Baxter International, Nishan Swais of Capgemini Canada, and Michael Weiner of Citadel.
Attendance to the conference is by invitation only. If you have senior business persons or lawyers you would like to invite, please contact Hailey Granatelli.
