25th Annual Ray Garrett Jr. Corporate and Securities Law Institute

The 25th Annual Ray Garrett Jr. Corporate and Securities Law Institute will be held on April 14-15, 2005 in Thorne Hall, on the Chicago campus of Northwestern University. The conference is designed to provide private practitioners and corporate counsel with a timely analysis of current and critical securities and corporate law issues and developments confronting publicly and privately held corporations. On Friday, April 15, Keith Crow, a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, will be chairing a session on "The Effect of Sarbanes-Oxley and NYSE-NASDAQ Corporate Governance Rules on M&A." Topics include: acquiring the private company; representations and warranties; and SEC position on internal controls.
