The PLI Keys to Outsourcing and Offshoring 2006: Protecting Critical Business Functions will be held on October 23 and 24, 2006. This two-day program is aimed at attorneys who are involved in outsourcing arrangements, corporate, technology, intellectual property, employment, regulatory, tax, financial and insurance lawyers. Topics will include key outsourcing issues in countries with emerging economies, recognizing and avoiding IP pitfalls, obtaining consents from the customer's existing vendors, using contracts to establish an "early warning system" for outsourcing difficulties, and offshoring and data security.
