7th Circuit Bar Association Annual Meeting

The 7th Circuit Bar Association's annual meeting, held in Milwaukee, covered topics ranging from "The Evolution of Media Coverage of the Supreme Court" and "The 'New' Media: Bloggers and the Courts" to "Privacy, Evidence Gathering and the Fourth Amendment in the Modern Technological Age."  Kirkland partner Roger Higgins spoke on interpreting section 503(b)(9), enacted as part of the 2005 BAPCPA to regulate executive compensation, severance and bonuses during bankruptcy.
