Outsourcing and Offshoring 2008: Protecting Critical Business Functions (PLI) - Chicago
Kirkland partner Neil S. Hirshman, P.C. is presenting in, "Outsourcing and Offshoring 2008: Protecting Critical Business Functions," scheduled for September 15-16, at the University of Chicago and November 3-4, 2008 in New York. The program will feature a discussion of key trends that are affecting businesses of all sizes shifting, or "outsourcing," of business functions that used to be provided internally within a company to third party vendors who specialize in the operation and management of such functions. These include data processing and storage, computer applications, network management, customer service and human resources. Outsourcing issues cover a wide range of legal areas, including information technology, IP, tax, employment, privacy and data security, regulatory affairs, corporate matters, insurance, real estate and dispute resolution.
