The 46th Annual Southern Federal Tax Institute

The Southern Federal Tax Institute held its 46th Annual conference from September 19-23, 2011 at the Grand Hyatt in Atlanta. The conference focused on recent developments in the federal tax code and problems which often prove difficult in planning clients' affairs and transactions. Topics included "Important Developments in Partnership Taxation" and "When Owners of a Closely Held Corporation Must Go Their Separate Ways," among others.

Kirkland partner Donald Rocap spoke on the topic entitled "Thanks…I Think; Granting Equity to Service Partners in an Uncertain Environment."
