The 46th Annual Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning

The Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning will hold its 46th Annual conference from January 9-13, 2012 at the Orlando World Center Marriott. The conference will focus on legislative, regulatory and case law developments of 2011 and how to use those changes to plan successfully in these uncertain times. Topics will include "Planning for Clients with $5 Million or Less," "Portability: The New Estate Planning Wonder Drug?" and "Gift Tax Audits: A Tale of Two Initiatives," among others.

Kirkland partner David Handler will speak on the topic entitled "There's No Place Like Home - Unless You Give It Away" and the panel discussion "Planning for the Large Estate Over $15 Million."
