American Bankruptcy Institute‘s VALCON 2012

The American Bankruptcy Institute will hold VALCON 2012 from February 22-24, 2012 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas.  The conference offers a unique opportunity for professionals and dealmakers in the distressed debt, restructuring and valuation business to convene for CLE and networking opportunities.  Topics will include, "Git'r Done! Managing Post-Confirmation Issues," "Capital Markets 2012 — For Better or Worse" and "The Painful Adjustment to the New Economic Realities," among others.

Kirkland partner Patrick Nash will act as moderator on the panel entitled "Lessons Learned: Valuation and Bankruptcy Cases from the Past Year." Partner James Sprayregen will act as the presiding officer for the conference on February 23 and will moderate the "Judicial Panel," discussing views of valuation testimony and methodologies, as well as the jurisdictional issues raised in Stern v. Marshall.
