D.C. Bar Continuing Legal Education Program Pretrial Skills Series

The D.C. Bar Continuing Legal Education Program will offer a two-part Pretrial Skills Series that will focus on pretrial topics in civil litigation, with a focus on practice techniques and strategies. The courses will emphasize the rules, practices and procedures of the local and federal courts in the Washington metropolitan area.

Kirkland partner Chris Posteraro will serve as faculty for part one of the series, "Taking and Defending Depositions," which will be held on October 9, 2013 at the D.C. Bar Conference Center in Washington, D.C. The course will examine practical considerations and tactical techniques that litigators can employ when taking and defending depositions, as well as ethical issues that can arise during the discovery process.
