The Law Project’s Emerging Nonprofit Certificate of Training Program

The Law Project will hold one of several Emerging Nonprofit Certificate of Training Programs on March 20 at The Law Project’s office in Chicago. The workshop is geared towards the emerging nonprofit organization, and the theme of the event – Funding a New Nonprofit – will provide an introduction to grant prospecting (including further resources on grant writing), funder perspectives on new nonprofits and fiscally sponsored groups and how to get the first $5K for a new organization.

Kirkland associates Stephen Butler, Josh McLane and Alison Skaife will present on the topic “Charity Checkpoints - Legal Steps to Forming a 501(c)(3) in Illinois.”
