An Update on Software Copyright Protection after the Landmark Oracle v. Google Decision

Kirkland intellectual property associate Joshua Simmons will be speaking on an American Bar Association panel titled “An Update on Software Copyright Protection after the Landmark Oracle v. Google Decision” on August 14, 2014. The program will explore the Federal Circuit's recent landmark decision on the copyrightability of software, as well as its implications for the software industry.
