89th Annual National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges

The National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges will hold its 89th Annual Conference from September 27-30, 2015 at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach in Miami, Florida. The conference has a program of timely topics focusing both on business and consumer related issues and will be an opportunity to network with professionals in the insolvency field. Topics will include, “How to Win (or Lose) Bankruptcy Auctions” and “Un-Till Death Do Us Part? Asserting the Rights of Secured Creditors in Chapter 11,” among others.

Kirkland partner James Sprayregen will participate in the panel discussion about Retention and Compensation on September 29, 2015 at 11:45 a.m. The roundtable will address current topics in retention and compensation including the effect the United States Trustee Guidelines have had since their adoption, recent cases on bonuses, compensation for defending fee applications, conflicts and more.
