2018 Copyright & Technology Conference
Every year, the Copyright Society of the USA and Giant Steps produce a Copyright & Technology Conference. This year’s conference will take place on Tuesday, January 16 at the Fordham University School of Law (Lincoln Center Campus) in New York. It will focus on the fast-moving influences that technology has on copyright. Technologists, attorneys, public policy decision makers, and media industry professionals will come together to discuss current topics during the one-day conference.
Partner Joshua Simmons will participate in the panel discussion, Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore: Software Protection in the Post-Alice Era, from 4–5:00 p.m. Josh will be joined by Barry Werbin of Herrick Feinstein, John Lunseth of Briggs & Morgan, and David Leichtman of Leichtman Law PLLC, with Nicholas Bartelt of Fordham IP Institute as the moderator.
