The Practising Law Institute will host its “Tax Strategies for Corporate Acquisitions, Dispositions, Spin-Offs, Joint Ventures, Financings, Reorganizations & Restructurings 2025” conference taking place in Chicago, Illinois and online on November 12–14, 2025. The program will focus on the tax issues presented by the entire spectrum of modern major corporate transactions.
Kirkland partner David Wheat will speak on the “Structuring Leveraged Buyouts” panel, which will examine the lifecycle of an LBO transaction. Partner Rachel Cantor will speak on the “Private Equity: Buying and Selling Partnerships” panel, which will discuss common issues in passthrough deals.
