The Chicago Conference on Judicial Valuation

The University of Chicago Law School and the Center on Law and Finance will host The Chicago Conference on Judicial Valuation on September 9–10, 2022 at the Gleacher Center in Chicago.

This conference will address one of the biggest controversies in law and finance today: judicial valuation of assets. Judges, scholars, and practitioners will come together to explore solutions to the errors that pervade valuation litigation and the parties’ and experts’ incentives to introduce and capitalize upon those errors as well as to educate each other on fundamental principles and best practices for financial valuation in the courtroom. Kirkland partner Chad Husnick will participate in the “Valuation in Bankruptcy, The Practitioners’ View” session as a panelist.
