James P. Abate is a corporate associate in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. James advises issuers, investment banks and private equity sponsors in a broad range of matters, including high-yield and investment grade debt offerings, initial public offerings and other equity offerings, and mergers & acquisitions. James also advises U.S. and international clients on SEC disclosure and compliance, corporate governance and general corporate matters. In addition, he has experience with financial technology matters, including the development of novel blockchain and digital asset solutions.
