Nabil Abou-Charaf is an investment funds partner in the Riyadh office of Kirkland & Ellis International Law Firm, leading the Firm’s Middle East funds practice. With 15+ years of experience across the Middle East, Europe and the U.S., he advises institutional and private investors – including sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, pension funds and family offices – on fund formation, co-investments, Shari’ah-compliant structures and regulatory compliance. Nabil has extensive experience across private equity, real estate, infrastructure, venture capital, hedge, credit and special situations, and regularly guides clients through the regulatory frameworks of Saudi Arabia (CMA), ADGM and DIFC. Previously, he held senior roles at top international law firms and in the fund services industry. Admitted in New York and Beirut, Nabil is fluent in Arabic, French and English.
