Shivangi Agarwalla is an investments funds associate in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP. Her practice focuses on the formation, operation and regulatory compliance of private equity funds and other investment vehicles. She also advises institutional investors and represents purchasers and fund sponsors in connection with secondary transactions.
She has previously worked as an investment funds attorney in Mumbai, India.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Shivangi was involved in the following matters:
Private Equity
- Spencer Retail Limited on its acquisition of 100% shareholding in Nature’s Basket Limited from its parent company, Godrej Industries Limited for approximately USD 39 million
- Temasek (Singapore) (India leg of the transaction) on its acquisition of 30% shareholding in Haldor Topsoe A/s, including its Indian subsidiary Haldor Tapsoe India Private Limited
Investment Funds
- Meritz Financial Group, Korea on their investment platform with Edelweiss Group with targeted corpus of USD 425 million focused on providing last mile financing for real estate projects
