Overview

Aimee Albright is a partner in the Investment Funds Group in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Aimee focuses her practice on advising private fund sponsors in connection with all aspects of the investment fund lifecycle, with a concentration on the structuring, formation, negotiation and operation of private investment funds.

Aimee’s fund formation experience includes representation of a wide range of sponsors in connection with fundraises ranging from first-time funds to multibillion dollar offerings across a broad array of investment strategies. Aimee has helped sponsors launch various forms of investment vehicles, including open-end and closed-end commingled funds and separately managed accounts. In addition, Aimee has experience advising sponsors in connection with seed investments, alternative investment vehicles, co-investments and other fund-related aspects of portfolio investment transactions.
