Overview

Zach Altman is a partner in the Investment Funds Practice Group in the Boston office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP where he focuses his practice on advising private fund sponsors on structuring, negotiating and forming investment vehicles and their management companies, particularly in the real assets sector. Zach has represented numerous global real estate and other private equity fund sponsors in establishing open-end and closed-end investment funds, vehicles and other accounts, including programmatic joint ventures, co-investment programs separately managed accounts and club deals, with a broad range of investment strategies.

Zach’s past practice also included representing public companies on securities issues, including periodic reporting, stock exchange and market regulations, public financings, including offerings of both equity and debt securities, proxy statements, and other required reports and disclosures, as well as compliance and corporate governance matters.
