Overview
Connor Anear is a capital markets associate in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP. Connor represents private equity sponsors, issuers, financial institutions and investment banks in securities offerings and complex corporate financings in Europe and the U.S., including high yield debt offerings, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and liability management transactions. He also has experience in investment grade debt offerings, equity offerings and general U.S. securities law matters.

Representative Matters
Since joining Kirkland, Connor’s representative matters include advising:
- FiberCop in connection with its €1 billion bond offering, €500 million tap notes offering and concurrent €500 million tender offer
- An ad hoc group of offshore noteholders on the successful restructuring of approximately USD8.1 billion offshore liabilities of CIFI Holdings (Group) Co. Ltd.
- Ardagh Group, a global producer of glass and metal products, on its successful comprehensive c. $6 billion debt and equity recapitalization
- The ad hoc group of creditors to Petra Diamonds, the London-listed diamond mining company, on its comprehensive recapitalisation transaction
- KKR-backed Selecta on a comprehensive recapitalization transaction
- PizzaExpress on its successful refinancing
- FiberCop in connection with its inaugural €2.8 billion bond offering. FiberCop’s shareholders are KKR Infrastructure, the Ministry of the Economy and Finance of Italy, Abu Dhabi sovereign investment fund Adia, CPP Investments and Italy’s infrastructure fund, F2i

- The super senior revolving facility lenders in connection with the Consolis Group’s successful recapitalization
- The initial purchasers in connection with Azelis’ €600 million offering of senior notes due 2029
- The initial purchasers in connection with International Game Technology’s €500 million offering of senior secured notes due 2030
- The initial purchasers in connection with Stonegate’s £2.1 billion offering of senior secured notes due 2031

- Hurricane Finance Plc, as issuer, in connection with Dojo’s private placement of senior secured notes due 2025
- The initial purchasers in connection with Preem’s inaugural green bond offering of €340 million senior notes due 2027
- The initial purchasers in connection with T-Mobile Netherlands’ €1.35 billion offering of senior secured notes due 2029 and senior notes due 2030 to support its acquisition by Apax and Warburg Pincus
