Basit has a broad transactional practice and assists public and private companies, private equity sponsors and investment banks with a range of capital market transactions, corporate governance matters and complex securities law and disclosure issues. Basit also assists U.S. and international clients with more general corporate and securities law matters, including Exchange Act reporting, beneficial ownership reporting under Section 13 and Section 16, corporate governance, shareholder meeting and proxy solicitations, SEC comment letter processes, and NYSE or Nasdaq listing requirements and compliance obligations.
