Overview

Maria Beltran is an intellectual property litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Maria concentrates her practice on patent, copyright, trade secret, trademark, and advertising litigation. Maria has worked on a variety of complex matters involving diverse technologies, including medical devices, radio communications, combustors, and computer software and hardware. Maria has experience with various stages of litigation, including pre-litigation evaluation, fact discovery, expert discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeal. Her experience includes motion drafting, oral argument at hearings, taking depositions, and expert witness preparation, including for expert reports and depositions. Maria is also active in pro bono matters.
