Overview

Vinicius Beraldo is a debt finance partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, developers, lenders and other market participants on complex financing, tax and M&A transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Vinicius has extensive experience representing clients in domestic and cross-border transactions involving the development, acquisition, financing, disposition and restructuring of energy and infrastructure projects. His practice focuses on renewable energy and energy transition assets, including solar, wind, battery storage and carbon capture projects.

His practice spans the full project lifecycle and capital stack, from project development and construction through acquisition, operation and restructuring. He regularly advises clients on construction and term debt facilities, tax equity financings, back-leverage facilities, tax credit transfer transactions and bridge financings, and other structured financing arrangements. Vinicius also advises clients on project development matters, acquisitions and dispositions, and the negotiation of complex commercial arrangements and transaction documents.
