Since joining Kirkland, Alex has been involved in the following matters:
- Represented Generate-Ubiquity Holdings, LLC on a $275 million construction credit facility. The loan proceeds were used to refinance existing credit facilities and for purposes of developing fiber optics projects
- Advised Morgan Stanley Infrastructure II, Inc., as the sponsor, on the refinancing of an 805-megawatt combined gas generating facility located in Sayreville, New Jersey. The refinancing transactions included a $260 million Term Loan B debt facility and a $35 million revolving debt facility. The term loan was used to refinance an existing facility
- Advised Ares on securing a new backleveraged first lien credit facility jointly arranged by MUFG Bank, Ltd. and BNP Paribas in connection with counseling Ares funds in a partnership with ENGIE North America, holding a 2.7 GW portfolio — one of the largest sales completed in the renewables sector based on total capacity
Prior to joining Kirkland, Alex was involved in the following matters:
- Representation on the development of STRATOS, the world’s largest Direct Air Capture facility in connection with a $550 million joint venture
- Representation of sponsor portfolio borrowers in connection with a $150 million revolving and term loan credit agreement
