Afi Blackshear is a litigation associate in Kirkland’s New York office, representing public and private companies, boards of directors and individuals in complex commercial, shareholder and fiduciary duty disputes, as well as federal criminal and civil appellate matters. His practice covers both federal and state courts, with experience in high-stakes deal litigation, post-closing disputes, business torts and investigations. He has managed all phases of litigation, developing case strategy, first-chairing depositions, managing dispositive and discovery briefing, and conducting settlement negotiations.
