Ali-Reza Boloori is a partner in Kirkland's Intellectual Property Group, focusing on patent infringement litigation and trials. Ali has experience in all phases of patent litigation, including initiating complaints, briefing pre- and post-trial motions, managing discovery teams, working with expert witnesses, deposing and defending witnesses, preparing key fact and expert witnesses for trial, and assisting in direct and cross examinations at trial. He also has experience managing patent litigation in foreign jurisdictions and coordinating with foreign counsel. His other experience includes: representing a military veteran before the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims in a successful appeal for disability benefits; representing a client in family court and obtaining restraining and child support orders in the client’s favor; and successfully representing private plaintiffs in a federal class action brought under the Americans with Disabilities Act and analogous California state laws.
