Alex Brodkin is an investment funds partner in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP. Alex advises and represents private fund manager clients in relation to all aspects of the structuring and operation of private investment funds across a broad range of asset classes, including in respect of co-investment arrangements as well as a variety of corporate matters including marketing arrangements, confidentiality agreements and fund and firm governance.

World Quantum Growth Acquisition Corp., a FinTech focused special purpose acquisition company, in connection with its $200 million IPO.
Nordic Capital on the closing of its €1.2 billion Nordic Capital Evolution Fund.
EQT Partners on the formation of EQT Real Estate II, a €1 billion Europe real estate fund.
Nordic Capital on the formation of Nordic Capital Fund X with aggregate capital commitments of €6.1 billion.
Resolution Life Group Holdings on its formation, raising over $3 billion for life insurance investments.
Prior to joining Kirkland in February 2019, Alex represented the sponsor on the following matters:
Apax Partners on the formation of Apax Digital Fund, a €1 billion tech-focused growth fund.
Cinven on the formation of the Sixth Cinven Fund, a €7 billion private equity fund.
Coller Capital on the formation of Coller International Partners VII, a US$7.15 billion secondaries fund.
CVC Capital Partners on the formation of CVC VII, a €16 billion private equity fund.
EQT on the formation of various funds, namely EQT Infrastructure III (€4,046 billion), EQT Mid Market Asia III (US$744 million), EQT Mid Market Europe (€1.616 billion), EQT Mid Market US (US$695 million), and EQT VIII (€10.91 billion).
