Kristin Burns is an investment funds partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Kristin represents public and private entities, including business development companies (BDCs), in their corporate and transactional matters. She represents clients in public and private offerings of debt and equity and has experience negotiating and structuring strategic mergers and acquisitions and joint venture transactions and advises on corporate government matters and compliance. Kristin also has significant experience drafting and negotiating documents for private investment funds and working with institutional investors such as pension and government funds.
