Alec Campbell is a tax partner in the Boston office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Alec represents U.S. and non-U.S. investment fund managers in connection with the formation of funds that invest in the U.S. and/or overseas, including venture capital funds, buyout funds, funds-of-funds, debt funds and other investment partnerships. Alec also has significant experience advising institutional investors on the tax aspects of alternative investments. He also regularly represents buyers and sellers in connection with the purchase and sale of interests in investment funds.
