Gavin Campbell is a litigation partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP and represents companies in complex litigation in federal and state courts. Gavin has represented and counseled clients in a range of industries, including investment banking, private equity, energy, communications, retail, and healthcare. Gavin’s representations include fraudulent transfer and bankruptcy litigation, securities and shareholder litigation, commercial contracts litigation, litigation involving asset purchase agreements, share purchase agreements, and merger agreements, and False Claims Act litigation.

Counsel for luxury retailer in fraudulent transfer lawsuits brought by a hedge fund and indenture trustee in Texas and New York state courts.
Counsel for an investment bank and affiliates in multiple federal district court and appellate proceedings brought by institutional investors alleging violations of federal and state securities laws in connection with the offering and sale of mortgage-backed securities.
Counsel for identity protection company in proceedings before the Delaware Court of Chancery brought by former employee-investors alleging breach of a merger agreement and aiding and abetting breaches of fiduciary duties.
Counsel for a private equity holding company in proceedings before the Delaware Court of Chancery brought by a multinational corporation alleging breach of a share purchase agreement.
