Representative Matters
Prior to joining Kirkland, Ed was involved in the following matters:
Acted for a patent platform administrator in a FRAND dispute before the UK Supreme Court concerning complex issues involving jurisdiction and the proper scope of the ETSI IPR policy.
Acted for a global biotechnology firm in cross-border patent litigation encompassing invalidity and infringement arguments over PSCK9 inhibitors, including before the UPC and EPO.
Advised a major food manufacturer on the coordination of a multijurisdictional trademark infringement campaign, including filing multiple actions before the High Court and pursuing enforcement action on the client’s behalf.
