Marianna Chapleau is a litigation partner in the Firm’s Miami office. She focuses her practice on complex commercial disputes and is recognized for her strategic judgment, practical counsel and persuasive courtroom advocacy. She is a trusted advocate for clients facing significant litigation exposure, particularly in Florida state and federal courts.

Marianna has successfully represented clients as both plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of high-stakes litigation, including disputes arising from complex financial transactions, trade secret misappropriation, breach of fiduciary duty and other business conflicts. She regularly handles matters involving significant factual and technical complexity and is experienced in presenting those issues effectively to judges and juries. Earlier in her career, she helped defend a Fortune 50 company in litigation arising from one of the largest product recalls in U.S. history, playing a key role in a bellwether trial that resulted in a successful verdict in the Southern District of New York.

Marianna began her career as an appellate attorney following a clerkship with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and a clerkship in the Texas Solicitor General’s Office. She regularly advises clients on complex legal issues throughout all stages of litigation, including at trial and on appeal, with a particular focus on novel questions of law.
