Samantha Chase is an employment and labor associate in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Samantha’s practice focuses on a wide-range of labor and employment issues, including enforceability of restrictive covenants; wage and hour compliance; union matters; employment-related agreements, policies and procedures; discrimination and harassment; internal investigations; workforce reductions and employee separations; and the resolution of employment-related disputes.
Samantha advises clients on the employment-related aspects of mergers, acquisitions and restructurings. She has experience conducting fulsome due diligence processes, negotiating and drafting labor and employment sections of purchase agreements and advising clients on workforce transition and integration plans. Samantha also counsels clients through workforce issues and negotiates and drafts employment agreements, restrictive covenant agreements and other critical employment-related documents.
