Constellation Brands, in the March 2023 unanimous jury verdict after a two-week trial in a breach of contract and trademark infringement lawsuit in New York federal court relating to Corona Hard Seltzer and Modelo Ranch Water arising from a license agreement between Constellation and Modelo, an Anheuser-Busch InBev company. The team was able to persuade the jury that hard seltzer is beer under the applicable contract. In March 2024, the Second Circuit affirmed the judgment in full.
