Before joining Kirkland & Ellis, Dane worked as an analyst in the technology transfer industry, evaluating the patentability and marketability of university-developed technologies. Prior to working in technology transfer, Dane served two years as a missionary in Brazil and later worked as a manager at the Rio 2016 Olympic golf tournaments.
