• BC Partners and Vista Equity Partners portfolio company Advanced on the sale of its application modernisation capabilities to IBM
• Birkenstock Holding plc and L Catterton on Birkenstock’s USD 1.5 billion IPO on the NYSE
• Nordic Capital on the sale of ADVANZ PHARMA by Nordic Capital X to Nordic Capital XI and the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board
• Warburg Pincus on its minority investment in Nord Security, a leading VPN provider
• WHP Global on its acquisition of a majority interest in G-Star RAW

Prior to joining Kirkland, Athena worked on the following matters:

• Peloton Interactive, Inc. on the USD 420 million acquisition of Precor Fitness
• Babylon Health on the USD 4.2 billion SPAC merger with Alkuri Global, a Nashville-based blank check firm, and its subsequent de-SPAC listing on NASDAQ
• RPC Tyche on the sale of its insurance software business to Aon
• 3i Infrastructure plc on its acquisition of Global Cloud XChange, a leading global subsea fibre optic cable operator
• Green Investment Group on its successful bid in The Crown Estate's Offshore Wind Leasing Round 4 with Total, securing rights to a seabed lease for a 1.5 gigawatt offshore wind farm on the East Anglian coast
• Green Investment Group on its joint venture with Fortum Oyj, a Finnish state-owned energy company, for the financing and development of an energy-from-waste facility in Scotland
• Morgan Stanley on its acquisition of 25 million non-voting preference shares in Haleon plc from Pfizer Inc.
• The underwriters and sponsors on the proposed Premium Listing on the London Stock Exchange of an international food ingredients company with a core focus on sustainability and product traceability
• Exponent Private Equity on the sell-downs of its residual stake in Moonpig Group plc by way of accelerated bookbuilds
• Goldman Sachs International and J.P. Morgan Cazenove as joint sponsors to FirstGroup plc on its GBP 500 million return of capital to its shareholders by way of a tender offer
