Rachael Coffey is a transactional partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Rachael focuses her practice on advising public and private companies as well as private equity clients on a broad range of M&A transactions, activist defense and other significant corporate matters. Her extensive experience also includes representing boards of directors and special committees in contested situations.

Rachael has been recognized by Law360 (2021) as a “Rising Star” and by The Deal as one of its “Top Women in Dealmaking” (2021) and a “Rising Star" (2020) among M&A lawyers. She is also recognized in The Legal 500 United States for her work on Corporate/M&A.
