Peter Connolly is a partner of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he is a founding member of the Los Angeles office’s Investment Funds Practice Group. Peter advises on structuring and capital raising for private funds, with a particular focus on real assets. He has represented global sponsors, as well as newly organized firms, in the formation of their funds and the optimization of their management structures. Peter regularly counsels his clients on internal economic and governance matters, co-investment arrangements, firm- and fund-level strategic transactions, regulatory matters, and all aspects of fund product design, capital raising and operations. Peter also has experience representing large institutional investors making commitments to private equity, real estate and infrastructure funds.
