Overview

Steven Dirks is an intellectual property litigation partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Steven focuses his practice on patent infringement and trade secret litigation across a variety of venues including Federal District Court and the International Trade Commission. He has academic and industry experience in a variety of technologies including pharmaceuticals, chemicals and medical devices.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Steven gained experience consulting with pharmaceutical companies, identifying licensing opportunities and analyzing intellectual property portfolio strategies. Steven collaborated with some of the largest pharmaceutical and medical device companies to implement growth and strategic maneuvering transactions.
