Overview

Robert Endrizzi is an associate in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Robert practices intellectual property law with a focus on patent infringement litigation and has represented clients in cases in federal court and in front of the International Trade Commission. Robert also advises clients on patent portfolio management, acquisitions and adversarial prosecution. He also has advised clients on trade secret issues.

Prior to practicing law, Robert was a staff electrical engineer at Lockheed Martin. At Lockheed Martin, he was a member of the Sikorsky Cockpit Design & Architecture team for civil and military rotorcraft with a focus on helicopter terrain awareness and warning systems (HTAWS), maintenance data computer software, data concentration and control systems. Robert was awarded as a “Significant Contributor” by the Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics (RTCA) for his efforts related to the standardization of helicopter terrain awareness and warning systems, which culminated in the publication of a new standard that was recognized by the UK Civil Aviation Authority as a “major safety boost for offshore helicopters.”

Robert maintains an active pro bono practice assisting persons seeking asylum in the United States.
